Web Developer & Video Editor

Serves as the web developer, videographer, video editor, and security liaison. Manages creative staff.

  • Develops web pages, databases, and separate web sites to feature faculty research and projects.
  • Meets with university IT to ensure web updates, security, and brand standards.
  • Films scripted and candid footage in-studio and on-site. Photographs events.

  • Supervised, mentored, and instructed a team of 12 part‑time college student staff. Taught biweekly graphic design lessons.
  • Hired, trained, directed, and evaluated the work of student graphic designers and student event photographers.
  • Wrote and edited content to ensure current, factual, and grammatically correct material.
Assistant Director of Media, Communication, & Marketing

Served as project manager for a series of textbooks and supplementary materials.

  • Created and coordinated graphic design, formatting, and production of publications, print materials, and electronic media related to CPEIP store products, training workshops, conferences, and grant reports.
  • Coordinated production quality control including proofreading, editing, high‑volume printing, assembly, packaging, storage, and delivery.
  • Consulted with faculty on projected timelines, production costs, and inventory needed to meet demand, including analyzing usage data and comparable costs. Coordinated with various print vendors.
Social Media Manager

Served under the Director of Communications to disseminate online and visual media to Florida residents, visitors, contractors, and department staff state-wide.

  • Developed social media campaigns and policy for the state department’s 70+ social media accounts. Coordinated with regional account managers.
  • Planned, designed, and disseminated digital and print campaign and general notice media cross the state through internal and external channels.
  • Served on the team to redesign and develop the new department website. Designed new FDOT logo and brand guidelines for both the logo and website.
  • Copy edited Secretary’s speeches and talking points.
Marketing Manager
  • Developed marketing plans including dinner and theatre nights, discount student nights, and guest speaker opportunities to engage viewers.
  • Supervised and evaluated MFA students in marketing practices.
  • Purchased advertising media through radio, newspaper, and web.
  • Designed all visual components including posters and advertisements.
